Logan comes to us from South Pacific County Humane Society.

She is a plus size senior chocolate lab. We are told she does well with cats and other dogs. She is a sweet-natured lady.

Logan’s mom passed away and that’s how she ended up at SPCHS. Logan needs someone who can get her healthy –starting with short walks, diet, and rides to the vet for laser and possibly orthopedic treatments for her joints. (Preferably a house with as few stairs as possible) Hopefully her joints will bear up better after she has lost some.

You will be surprised how eager dogs are to walk even when its difficult for them due to pain and excess weight. Little by little, they gain distance and drop weight. Their endurance improves.

If you think you might have what it takes to get this gal back on track, please, please, please fill out the initial volunteer applications and check “FOSTER” if you would like to be on the list for dear Logan or one of our other new senior dogs. If you have filled out the application in the past, we still have it on-hand, so just email us to remind us who you are. Our mission is to find the best placement for every one of our senior dogs! Even if we felt that you weren’t the right human for one of our dogs in the past, that does not mean you won’t be given consideration for a current one. You might fit in perfectly!

Everyone at Angels for Sara thanks you!
